Dr. Franz Mang’s research interests lie mainly in social and political philosophy, comparative philosophy, and ethics. He received his D.Phil. in Politics from Oxford University in 2016. Between 2010 and 2014, he was a Swire Scholar (on a fully-funded scholarship) at St. Antony’s College, Oxford University. He received his B.A. in Philosophy and M.Phil. in Politics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and The University of Hong Kong respectively. He has published articles in Social Theory and Practice, Dao: A Journal of Comparative Philosophy, and Res Publica: A Journal of Moral, Legal, and Social Philosophy.
