Biography
Dushantha is a researcher who specializes in the field of ocean-atmosphere interaction, particularly with regard to climate change, ocean warming, and marine extreme events such as marine heatwaves. With a background in physical oceanography, Dushantha has extensive experience in data collection techniques, including CTD, XBT, and Argo, as well as satellite data. Dushantha's hands-on experience in data processing, programming, and climate modeling has enabled him to develop a deep understanding of the complex physical processes that govern the interactions between the ocean and atmosphere.
