
Biography
LU Dunming holds a Bachelor degree in Linguistics and Sociology (Distinction) from the University of Manchester, and a Master of Science in TESOL from the University of Edinburgh. He is CELTA-certified and worked as an English teacher in Guangdong after graduation.
He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. degree with Prof.Jack PUN in the fields of translanguaging and English language eduction. His Ph.D. research aims to design a genre-based EAP course incorporating pedagogical translanguaging and assess its effectiveness on the development of tertiary level second language learners’ mastery of rhetorical organisation and use lexical bundles in the target discipline.
