Biography

My name is Chigozie Ezulike (Juliet). I had my BSc in Social work in 2015 at the University of Nigeria (UNN). In the final year of my undergraduate studies, I developed an interest in ageing and issues concerning older adults. Consequently, I got involved in voluntary service in a non-profit organisation providing services to older persons in Nigeria. Afterward, I proceeded for a Master’s degree in Gerontology through the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship at the University of Southampton, United Kingdom. I am currently a Ph.D. student under the social work (social gerontology) stream of the Social and Behavioural Sciences Department, CityU. My current research is a qualitative inquiry into the lives of older adults as caregivers in Nigeria.
