Biography
My research focuses on motion control, embedded real-time control, industrial fieldbus and intelligent controllers. I led the R&D of CPAC and PAC product lines widely used in robotics, processing, packaging, textiles and intelligent greenhouses, filling domestic technical gaps.
I have presided over key national, provincial and ministerial projects including the 863 Program and MIIT Major Project, with total funding over 40 million RMB. I built China’s first special robot intelligent factory, generating direct revenue of 21 million RMB and driving an industrial output of 400 million RMB. I hold 2 invention patents and 3 utility model patents, and received the Guangdong Science and Technology Progress Second Prize.
I serve as IEEE Senior Member, Member of National Standardization Committee TC159, external expert at CAS Shenzhen Institutes of Advanced Technology, and postgraduate supervisor at Shenzhen University.
Also I am Chair of IEEE P3979 Working Group (IES). I lead the development of the international standard for discrete logistics equipment control and safety framework, approved in Feb 2026.
Currently, I am the PhD candidate in Department of Electrical Engineering, City University of Hong Kong.
