Biography

Baichuan Cui is currently a PhD student at City University of Hong Kong, College of Science, Department of Chemistry. He received his Matser's degree in Engineering at Nankai Univeristy in 2024. During his graduate study, he focused the research on advanced modifications of gel polymer electrolytes and high-capacity layered oxide cathode materials for lithium batteries. He has won the 1st prize of the Gongneng scholarship at Nankai university for his research achivements. So far, he has published two articles on SCI journals. He has joined the research group of Dr. Jijian Xu (Laboratory of Energy Transformation & Sustainability, LETS) and his future research will be focusing on the design of high-performance electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries.
