Dr. CHAPAGAIN Arjun

Recently, I completed my PhD in Public and International Studies at the City University of Hong Kong. My research is on identification, vernacularisation and institutional border of Sowa Rigpa (publicly known as Tibetan Medicine) in Nepal Himalaya and cross-border trade of medicinal plants. I hold a master's degree in Botany from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. I have a few years of experience in Natural resources, green economy, Himalayan livelihood, Community Forestry Rights, Sustainable Forest Management, and Resources, trade and market assessment of Non-Timber Forest Products and Medicinal Plants.
