Biography

Dr. Arslan Akbar completed his PhD in Architecture and Civil Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) in 2021 and is currently serving as a postdoc researcher at the same university. He received Master of Science in Structural Engineering degree from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) Islamabad, Pakistan in 2018. He did Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree from Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan in 2015. His research interests range from sustainable and innovative cement-based composites to the application of machine learning and artificial intelligence approaches to built environment, and his work often explores the environmental impacts of products/processes through life cycle assessment.
