Biography

Professor Alimov received his MBA in finance from Central Michigan University and Ph.D. in finance from the University of Oregon, U.S.A.. Prior to joining the Department of Economics and Finance at the City University of Hong Kong, he was an assistant professor of finance at the University of Arizona (visiting) and California State University-Fullerton. His areas of research include corporate finance, law and finance, and international finance, including international mergers and acquisitions, bank loan contracting, and corporate governance.
