Biography
I am an interdisciplinary researcher working at the intersection space of two streams (i) stream-1: keywords- "emergence, evolution, biology of cognition, ecology, thermodynamics, complexity, philosophy" AND (ii) stream-2: keywords-"future of capitalism, resilience, governance, policy, sustainable development". At the core, my research explicates (A) the meaning of humanities collective goals (B) how each of us can be guided to work towards those collective goals? (C) what modern life will actually mean when humanity will collectively work towards the collective goals ?
I did my bachelor’s (2002-06) in Biochemical Engineering from HBTU, India – formerly known as HBTI- and MBA (2015-17) in Operations & Marketing from the University of Hong Kong. I am now finishing my PhD in sustainability stream at the School of Energy and Environment, City University of Hong Kong. My PhD research project is focused on discovering the foundation for human life, where competition (i.e. biological reality of natural selection) exists, but its negative effects are countered in a consistent and reproducible manner.
In addition, I am teaching Moral Economics as a part time lecturer (since 2022-23) in Department of Accounting, Economics and Finance at Hong Kong Baptist University. Further, I specialize in consulting on Engineering design, Manufacturing, Compliance and Quality matters with more than 15 years of work experience in life science industry, with certifications in Supply Chain, Data Science and Lean Six Sigma Operations. To this end, I am also engaged as an in-house consultant to a firm located in Hong Kong.
