Wang Jiangyu appointed as a member of the UNESCAP's Expert Group Meeting on Emerging Trends in Regional Trade Agreements

Description of impact

This expert group meeting (EGM) is organized to discuss emerging trends in regional trade agreements (RTAs). The discussion during this meeting and the collaboration that might be formed after the meeting will contribute to the delivery of the work programme of the Trade, Investment and Innovation Division of ESCAP related to trade policy and integration, including further development of the online Trade Intelligence and Negotiation Adviser (TINA) platform.1

The purpose of the EGM is to inform the ESCAP Secretariat – participation of external stakeholders will be limited. The EGM will consist of two initial sessions of 90 minutes each – to be complemented with additional sessions on other emerging topics identified in January 2025.

The meeting was held on 17 December 2024 in Bangkok.
