According to metrics compiled by Stanford University and the updated data published on 10 October 2022, eighteen faculty members of the School of Energy and Environment (SEE) are listed among the top 2% of the world’s most highly cited scientists (i.e., top 2% in the world in their own areas of specialty). 

This year’s 18 top 2% scientists from SEE are, in alphabetical order, Dr. Alicia An, Professor Chak K. Chan, Professor Johnny Chan, Professor Guohua Chen, Professor Alex Jen, Professor Alvin Lai, Professor Kenneth Leung, Professor Michael Leung, Dr. Carol Lin, Dr. Chunhua Liu, Professor Yun Hau Ng, Dr. Jin Shang, Dr. Edwin Tso, Professor Wen-Xiong Wang, Dr. Wei Wu, Professor Angus Yip, Dr. Lin Zhang and Professor Wen Zhou.
