    香港城市大学法学院教授、中国法与比较法研究中心主任王江雨受访时判断，中美分别提出“阴谋论”，但这些指责成立的可能性很低，相信双方也都没有确凿证据，围绕冠病病源的交锋，是双方互泼脏水的战术。

    王江雨说：“中国前期有所掩盖，后来采取防疫措施，但很长一段时间过去后，西方还是没有采取行动。美国指责中国，是为了对内有所交代，显示疫情在美国扩散是中国造成的问题。中国反击则是出于国际博弈需要，防止美国的指责成为国际社会共识。”
