This guest lecture, tailored for the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing's Comparing Systems of Elder Care course, centered on the relationship between timebanking and social care. The lecture delved into the pressing issues encountered in social care, especially concerning elderly care, and explored the principles, fundamental values, and frameworks of timebanking as a potential innovative approach. Furthermore, the lecture discussed the incorporation of timebanking into social care systems, as well as the obstacles and prospective opportunities of timebanking in this field.
