The 4th Hong Kong Regional Final of the 9th Cross-Strait Interpreting Contest

Description

The 4th Hong Kong Regional Final of the 9th Cross-Strait Interpreting Contest (Putonghua/English) was held by the Department of Linguistics and Translation, City University of Hong Kong, on 11 March 2023. It was co-hosted by sighted people and people who are visually impaired with the provision of audio description services in Cantonese and Putonghua. A total of 15 contestants from five universities in Hong Kong participated in the contest. The First Prize winners of the contest will participate in the Grand Final of the 9th Cross-Strait Interpreting Contest held in Macau in May.
