Participated in experimental studies on the heat transfer behaviors of water at supercritical pressures under a wide range of heat and mass fluxes. The study was carried out at the High Pressure Evaporator's Rig (HiPER) facility located within the Institute for Energy Systems, at the Technical University of Munich, Germany.

Numerical studies were also conducted using Finite Volume Methods (FVM) in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), in order to benchmark the experimental results obtained at HiPER, and I found that inaccurate numerical results were obtained for pressures near the critical point, which, to the best of my knowledge might be due to the invalidity of the existing turbulent/Prandtl number models or some other unknown phenomena occurring near the critical point (where the thermo-physical property variations are most intense and complex).

Also, conducted a numerical study on the mitigation of heat transfer deterioration of supercritical CO2 using a novel small-scale multiple vortex generator; work resulted in joint publication with three members of the institute (see-
