Symposium: Infectious disease modelling and control

Description

Social Connectedness speeds the spread of infectious diseases, such as influenza and Zika virus. Identification of the underlying disease transmission framework helps to control epidemics and reduce incidences. The symposium aims to exchange cutting-edge research developments in the field of infectious disease epidemiology, and to provide hands-on modelling experience for disease transmission. It comprises of workshops and invited talks.
