Description

MetaObjects is a digital studio based in Hong Kong and London that aims to facilitate digital production with artists and cultural institutions. Founded in 2017 by curator and researcher Ashley Lee Wong and technologist Andrew Crowe, the studio works across VR, 3D printing, motion capture, audiovisual production, software development and web development. Through projects and collaborations, MetaObjects encourages the sharing of knowledge of new digital tools and processes. MetaObjects presents a model that does not seek to replicate existing practices promoted by the creative industries, but rather seeks find new ways of working and supporting artistic practices engaging with new technologies and opening up to new possibilities in a rapidly changing economic landscape.
