Description
Public security is essential to social peace and national stability. However, in theinformation era, public security suffers from more severe technical challenges. Intelligent
media technologies can powerfully promote the informatization construction and
modernization of public security, so they play an important role in building a peaceful and
harmonious society.
This workshop is the premier forum for the presentation of new advances and research
results in the fields of intelligent media technologies for public security. Papers in the main
technical program must describe high-quality, original research. Topics of interest include all
intelligent media technologies for public security including, but not limited to:
1. Identity management (biometrics, multi-factor authentication, etc.)
2. Intelligent media technologies in video surveillance (object
detection/tracking/recognition, behavior recognition, 3D scene reconstruction,
distributed media processing, high quality media, etc.)
3. Intelligent applications of multi-modal big data (structured description of video, audio,
etc.)
4. Intelligent technologies for privacy protection (protection of media content, biometric
data, video data, etc.)
5. Intelligent technologies for traffic security (risk assessment of traffic accident, traffic
control optimization, etc.)
