The Sound of Changes - Theme of ICMC 2023In traditional Chinese philosophy, the concept of change often refers to the interchange between motion and stillness, which symbolizes the growth and essence of things. With this year’s conference theme, The Sound of Changes, we are going to reflect on the relationship between computer music’s fundamental concepts and its various forms, ponder the significance of classic theories and classic works, explore the essence of computer music, and discuss how to meet the challenges and opportunities in this rapidly changing cultural, social, and technological environment.
