The “Estimation of Financed Emissions in Hong Kong and Policy Recommendations Final Report Dissemination Seminar’ was held at 3:30 pm on 11-April by the Research Centre for Sustainable Hong Kong (CSHK).

During the seminar, CSHK financed emission research team shared the major findings, including the methodology of estimation, results and policy recommendations. The 4 recommendations include (1) advance scope of financed emission accounting and reporting, (2) extend sustainable/green finance policy, (3) develop certification services for enhanced assurance; and (4) expand green talent capacity building and research. Over 60 expert participants from the government, academia, business sector and non-governmental organizations actively discussed with the team to scrutinize the results and provided suggestions for future research.
