Description

The conference comprised of two main themes, focused on the importance of education in the conservation field, and how wildlife and human populations interact. It reflected on the current state of education around wildlife, the various dimensions surrounding public knowledge about animals, and how organisations and individuals can work to spread the word about these issues and increase public engagement. The conference assessed how animals in urban environments interact with human populations, as well as exploring some current conservation efforts in Hong Kong.
