Lai’s Voices Seen, Images Heard is one of the fourteen works from the Videotage Media Art Collection (VMAC) on display as part of Hallucinatory Hereafter, the Mediatheque’s inaugural guest programme, curated by Vennes Cheng. Lai and Cheng will examine how the metaphoric and hallucinatory nature of moving image can challenge our perception and awareness of reality.
The event, held in English, will be moderated by M+ Curator of Moving Image Ulanda Blair. Simultaneous interpretation in Cantonese will be available.
