Design and Nanofabrication of Highly Sensitive Plasmonic Sensors for Biomedical Cell and Molecule Detection

Activity: Talk/lecture or presentationPresentation

Description

A high-sensitivity plasmonic biosensor is developed for early disease screening and diagnosis, with the unique capability of detecting nanometer-sized filopodia and biomolecules. Nanofabrication technology is applied to produce an integrated microsystem that is compact, user-friendly, and portable for point-of-care applications at low cost.

This invention won the Special Prize and Gold Medal with Congratulations of the Jury at the 49th IEIG.
