Description

The Workshop on Media and Art Theory is a collaboration between Cornell University, Beijing University, and City University of Hong Kong, In an environment in which the parameters of arts and media education are being pulled in multiple directions by developments in trans-media, transformations of curriculum and practice in media and the arts, and by the broader integration of theoretical concerns into practice and pedagogy, the workshop provides an opportunity for sharing perceptions and strategies among colleagues from institutions of higher education known for pushing the boundaries of creation, research, and curating.
