Description
On 28 and 29 March, the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), London together with M+ and the Hong Kong Arts Centre, presents a screening programme of three works by the filmmaker, writer, theorist, and composer Trinh T Minh-ha.Hugely influential in the fields of feminism and postcolonial studies through her writing and moving-image work, Vietnamese-born Trinh T Minh-ha is currently Professor of Rhetoric and Gender and Women’s Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. During the screening she presents and discusses the three films: The Fourth Dimension (2001), Forgetting Vietnam (2015) and Reassemblage(1982).
This programme is presented by the Institute of Contemporary Arts (London) together with M+ and the Hong Kong Arts Centre, in collaboration with the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies, Faculty of Arts, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and in association with Art Basel Hong Kong.
