Artists De-colonise Museums Workshop 2:How do you work with a system that tries to keep you out? is a series of invitation-only one-day workshops on the role that artists can play in aims of decolonizing UK museums and archives.

The workshops will explore the potential of artists to find new ways to circumvent the entrenched systems of power that may prevent or limit access to museum collections and their interpretation of colonial legacies.

We are seeking solutions in the structures of these institutions rather than through programmes that already fit within existing patterns and behaviours.
