Description

A CSHK research team on AI ethics and governance attended a meeting on 28 March with the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in Hong Kong, Ms. Ada Chung, and her team. The CSHK team, led by Centre Director Prof Linda Li and Project Principal Investigator Prof HM Chan, presented their work on AI ethics and ideas on AI governance policy. We also exchanged views on the draft guidance notes for data users for a more trustworthy AI. The meeting agreed to the need for more active collaboration between different stakeholders, including government and research institutions, and continuous exploration and research given the evolving nature of AI technology and its many applications.
The CSHK team at the meeting includes Prof. Linda Li, Prof. Ho Man Chan, Prof. Fen Lin, Dr. Victor Hung, Mr. Cheuk Chun Kit & Mr. VIctor Tuzov.
